Protective coatings bond to the surface of your shower glass and make water bead and run off — which means less scrubbing and less soap-scum buildup.
How they work
The coating fills the microscopic pores in the glass surface. Without it, hard water minerals and soap residue lodge in those pores and become very difficult to remove.
Brands we use
We install ClearShield as standard on every frameless enclosure. EnduroShield and Diamon-Fusion are good alternatives.
How long it lasts
A professionally applied coating typically lasts 5–10 years. A simple weekly wipe-down with a squeegee extends that significantly.
Is it worth it?
For about 5% of the price of your enclosure, you save hours of scrubbing and keep the glass clear for the life of the install. We think it's a no-brainer.
